As part of our standard bottling fee, we include any pre-bottling analyses to help in your wine preparation, this might include Filterability, Alcohol %, dissolved Oxygen and dissolved CO2, or we can run a micro-plate to give you an idea of any filtration requirements if necessary. So we encourage you to bring a pre-bottling sample in at least the day before bottling to make full use of this inclusive service.
During a bottling run we regularly monitor how well the bottle closure has been applied, along with dissolved Oxygen and dissolved CO2 which gives us a good picture of how well our filler is performing. We are pleased to say we are very happy with the results so far!
We also do a post bottling check on all bottling runs to ensure the sterile integrity has been maintained throughout the bottling run. This includes running a culture plate to test for any yeast, mould and bacteria.
